You've pulled a good summary together. I have always thought the logical place to look for proto-indo-european was the near east and was pleased when Colin Renfrew's theories came out.
Before agriculture the linguistic map of eurasia must've been a bit like Australia - bitty with no great obvious language families. The only obvious trace of mass human culture that could include language is the neolithic.

I don't think you need to postulate mixed marriages.There are many examples of hunter-gatherers adopting neighbouring farming languages (eg the pygmies); then once the mesolithic population adopted farming they would outbreed the neareastern population because they are genetically better suited to the local environment.

It is very difficult to study Bayesian Analysis topic. Not many good reference textbooks to study Markov chain.

I use Statistical Decision Theory and Bayesian Analysis, 2nd Edition to study. This is good reference textbook.

Do you have any other good Bayesian Analysis related textbooks recommend?
