This is the author site of Christopher Seddon.
I have been writing about prehistory and astronomy since taking early retirement in 2009. Prior to that, I worked in the IT industry for 32 years.
Towards the end of my IT career, I started a WordPress blog, with the intention of getting myself writing again. Going back to the 1980s, I had written science fiction, but eventually concluded that truth is stranger than fiction, and the distant past of humanity interested me more than any fictional future. I also have a lifelong interest in astronomy. I took early retirement to work full time as an author, but it meant that there was less time for blogging. I used the the blog mainly to post pictures of architectually interesting buildings. By 2018, there was insufficient space to host new content on the WordPress ‘free’ tier, so the site lapsed into disuse.
The need for a dedicated author website has meant that it it no longer practical for me to carry on maintaining an image-heavy blog, so I reluctantly took it down.
