Spectacular lightshow over North London
In the early hours of 11 October 2024 (my birthday), a spectacular auroral display was visible over North London. The first pic is taken near to Leytonstone High Road Station; the others are from my living room. It is the first time I have ever seen the Aurora Borealis. For years, I have been thinking of making a trip to the Arctic Circle to see it – in the end, I did not even need to leave the house.
